The Chamilo Association, Belgium, and the Universidad de Tocantins, Brazil signed a collaboration agreement on the  20th of August 2010, aiming at strenghtening their joint activities to improve the growth of the Chamilo e-learning platform.

Yannick Warnier, founding member and secretary of the Association and development leader of Chamilo; Geraldo Silva Gomes, Vice-Rector of the post-graduate school of UNITINS; and the Rector of the Unitins signed the agreement (see secretary and rector shaking hands on the picture). Thank to efforts from both sides, Chamilo will improve its new versions with Portuguese documentation, tests and interface translations.

In much the same way, Contidos Dixitais (Spain) and NoSoloRed (Spain) also signed collaboration agreements with the Chamilo Association (Belgium) and are now recognized as official members of the association.
